Introduction to Oil and Gas Production Technologies

Programme Outcomes

This course is aimed to equip participants with the knowledge of the whole cycle of the exploration and production of oil and gas assets, including the evaluation of the reserves, the development, and the equipment required to produce the fluids from the wellbore to the storage facilities. In addition, participants will also expect to learn the techniques to evaluate the existence of reserves and how to mitigate the intrinsic risk associated with the exploration activities. This course is a summary of the activities that  are performed by exploration, reservoir and petroleum engineering teams.
