Programme Outcomes

1. Correctly specify the rules, regulations and industrial standards associated with the procurement and implementation of PAGA System for Oil & Gas installation particularly fixed and floating systems at offshore locations, 2. Identify and describe accurately the engineering and design steps, process and methods in performing TE&D for PAGA systems. This includes correct field devices placements, correct cable routing design concepts and specifying accurately system equipment, power supply and interface requirements. 3. Perform correctly technical bid evaluation and technology selection of PAGA System for O&G projects. 4. Identify correctly the scope and requirements of PAGA Sound coverage study including the correct criteria to be used in the study and the use of correct SW tools, ensuring effective sound coverage of the PAGA systems is achieved on Oil & Gas installation particularly on fixed and floating systems at offshore locations and, 5. Practice correctly the engineering and design steps and methods in performing engineering and design of PAGA System for Oil & Gas installation particularly on fixed and floating systems at offshore locations.

1. TE&D Course overviewand Basic Level Course Recap - Recap the objectives and methodologies TE&D course series and Basic Level module 2. Telecom Fundamental on Sound wave propagations and ambience noise: - Enable all participants to acquire adequate knowledge to understand the topics to be covered in Foundation Level 3. Rules, Regulations & Standards (RRS) - Rules & Regulations impacting Telecom Engineering & Design of PAGA for Fixed & Floating Installations - International, Regional, National, Corporate & Industrial Standards: specific standards impacting PAGA System - Provides participants RRS codes influencing TE&D activities and enable participants to identify the correct ones to apply. 4. PAGA System Specification for Engineering Deliverables - Provides participants the methods of preparing Engineering deliverables including their contents. 5. Engineering & design process: basis, philosophy & approach - Provides participants the process in performing TE&D and their related activities. 6. Sound Coverage Studies - Provides participants the requirements of the study and its report, the criteria use in the performing the study and the type of SW tools use in the study. Video Demo of the study will also be shared to enhance the understanding of the subject matter. 7. Case Study: Performance standard of the equipment, types of systems available in the market & technology selections will be covered. Where practical, hands-on may be included.
