FPSO OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE

1. Be Familiarized with types, characteristics and differences among the various floating oil and gas production facilities 2. Understand the main functions of topside process and utility systems and how and why they operate 3. Gain Awareness of the key design and technology considerations for today’s FPSO, eg. Layout and safety. 4. Gain an overview of subsea field layouts and the different mooring and riser systems and the design and selection criteria. 5. Understand the mechanical completion, pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures and preparations. 6. Review the start-up and FPSO operating procedures/manuals and preparations for onboard work activities. 7. Access HSE considerations during commissioning, start-up and normal operation. 8. Identify how work activities are organized.
