
As of 01 December 2021, it has been mandated by the Civil Aviation Authority Malaysia (CAAM) that all drone operators must be in possession of a RCoC for authorization to operate a UAS. With RCoC-B, drone operators are able to perform all kinds of VLOS operations such as surveillance and mapping except dispensation activities. This RCoC-B program is designed to ensure the drone operators are trained to have adequate knowledge and skills to operate their UAS in a safe and responsible manner.
