Maritime Shipping Training - Module 2 : Voyage Estimate Calculations Workshop

Objective: Participants will be able to evaluate the economic proposal and understand the various cost structure in calculating the voyage estimate of a business. This helps the chartering executives or Manager in making the right decision quickly.

Chartering of vessel often requires quick decision and without doing it correctly it could result in Ship Owner or Disponent Owner in losses. Participants will be guided step-by-step to make their own voyage estimate using an Excel Spreadsheet which they can customize later to suite their vessel specification for future daily use. As for Charterer, this program help participants to understand the shipping cost and help them to make an estimate of the freight element for CIF selling product prices for their project cargoes. For the program, the Trainer will use Tanker Business model with multiple load and discharge ports.
