1. Supports operations by performing the NDT inspection/process within their limitation and ensuring all NDT matter in operation or quality requirement are met. They have to ensure NDT process related to their method meets the operation requirement is in accordance with production planning projection. 2. Prepare, process and inspect aerospace and commercial parts and materials using NDT methods of fluorescent penetrant inspection (FPI) and radiography inspection (RT) and do laboratory check at the highest quality and safety standards accordance with applicable technical directives, specifications, quality standard and customer requirements. 3. Assist NDT Specialist to perform NDT task and support NDT Specialist & NDT Engineer mentoring NDT Technician and NDT Operator personnel especially in OJT 4. Participate in the development and documentation of NDT techniques or work instruction from approved general procedure 5. Control inventory of tooling & equipment of NDT Section and monitor the calibration status 6. Set up and standardise equipment, process parts, interpret and evaluate for acceptance or rejection, and documentations of result 7. 1. Manages the non-destructive testing of aircraft engines and parts to assess their durability and functionality. 2. Determines the appropriate NDT techniques and procedures in line with relevant codes, standards, and specifications. 3. Verifies that all NDT inspections adhere to the demands of clients, original equipment manufacturers (OEM), and certifications such as EN 4179, NAS 410, and NADCAP where necessary. 4. Collaborates with maintenance and engineering personnel to analyse failures and formulates technical resolutions for structural issues and defects. 5. Performs technical reviews to ensure alignment with engineering standards and NDT protocols, while maintaining accurate records. 6. Upholds conformity with airworthiness, legal stipulations, and the organisation's safety, health, and quality frameworks. 7. Seeks out avenues for ongoing enhancement via data analysis, research, and innovation, and applies lean and eco-friendly methods to NDT operations. 8. Oversees the performance of staff and provides expert advice to NDT personnel at levels 1 and 2. 9. Is expected to offer support to the NDT team, whether remotely or on-site. 10. Must be thorough and organised in executing responsibilities, employing critical and analytical thought to detect inconsistencies, troubleshoot issues, and prevent potential hazards in maintenance procedures.
1. Administer, manage, and develop NDT Services Section capabilities. 2. Review NDT written procedures and practices. 3. Provide NDT consultancy to customers. 4. Provide guidance in establishing NDT facilities and capabilities. 5. Approve NDT techniques and procedures prepared by NDT Level II personnel. 6. Prepare for audit and surveillance of NDT facilities, procedures, records, and personnel qualification. 7. Review audit report and corrective actions on Non-Conformance Reports (NCR). 8. Liaise with airworthiness authorities and customers regarding NDT. 9. Conduct training on NDT personnel as required. 10. Conduct Level I and II examinations to European Standard EN 4179, CAAM AN 52, and NAS 410. 11. Maintain a list of NDT Level I and Level II personnel. 12. 1. Lead the Quality Department. 2. Coordinate, and direct quality programmes designed to ensure that the processing of all quality products and quality assurance are consistent to the established standards. They should be well-versed in ensuring all quality standards are met, and be able to ensure that all work is manufactured compliant to the AS-9100 quality standards. 3. Oversee the daily task assignments of direct reports as well as supervise and prioritise tasks as necessary to assure schedule compliance 4. Creates control plans for specialized processes and oversees the upkeep of equipment as well as the certification programs for operators. 6. Tracks non-destructive testing outcomes for patterns and remedial measures, and leads quality audits to ensure compliance with relevant standards and NDT requirements. 7. Examines adherence to airworthiness and regulatory mandates, advocating for improvements to the organisation's standard operating procedures, and to the health, safety, and quality frameworks. 8. Actively contributes to the development of lean and sustainability practices, and conducts research and digital innovation in NDT for continuous process improvements. 9. As a team leader, evaluates employee performance and provides mentorship and instructional support to level 1 and level 2 non-destructive testing staff. 10.
