Collaborating with airport stakeholders to resolve operational issues on the airside Managing contractor activities and issuing stop-work orders for non-compliance with airside rules Overseeing and ensuring functionality of airside operational systems, including stand allocation Addressing findings from internal and external safety and/or security audits Developing on-the-job training programmes and learning plans for airside teams Operating vehicles at the airside with a valid Airside Driving Permit (ADP) Managing Gate Management System (GMS), Long-Range Radar and Display System (LORADS), and other airside tools Completing reports and documentation accurately using relevant software Demonstrating strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Ensuring adherence to airside safety management SOPs and airport emergency procedures
Identifying and removing hazards on runways and taxiways Allocating baggage belts and parking stands for arriving and departing aircraft Providing timely flight information updates to relevant parties Coordinating flight matching and aircraft towing operations Enforcing compliance with airside safety and security standards through routine inspections Investigating breaches in safety and/or security protocols to determine root causes Utilising operational systems such as Gate Management System (GMS) and LORADS Operating vehicles on the airside with a valid Airside Driving Permit (ADP) Working in rotational shifts across airside locations Communicating effectively with stakeholders to support safe and smooth airside operations
Operating automated baggage handling systems and AGVs/Autonomous Vehicles (AVs) Towing, loading, and unloading baggage containers for arriving and departing flights Conducting checks on baggage to ensure there are no hazardous materials or dangerous goods Operating baggage conveyors and ground support vehicles with a valid Class 3 Driving Licence and ADP Complying with safety and security procedures and reporting any breaches promptly Working outdoors under all weather conditions and in rotational shifts Demonstrating physical strength and endurance to handle baggage operations effectively Applying knowledge of baggage handling systems and ground handling processes Coordinating with team members to ensure timely baggage delivery and loading accuracy Practicing good time management and clear communication in a fast-paced airport environment
