1) Plan, review, and recommend drilling and workover programs in accordance with technical and engineering standards. 2) Monitor drilling progress and troubleshoot operational issues to avoid delays. 3) Oversee rig mobilization and demobilization for assigned wells. 4) Manage equipment needs and ensure availability for efficient drilling operations. 5) Prepare and maintain detailed drilling reports and documentation for operational analysis
1) Oversee the safe operation and management of offshore facilities, ensuring compliance with local and international safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. 2) Lead offshore rig activities, ensuring the Client’s program is executed according to set parameters and operational procedures. 3) Exercise authority to protect personnel, rig assets, and the marine environment from harm, ensuring a safe working environment. 4) Communicate and enforce Company policies and procedures, and ensure proper training and performance of crew members. 5) Coordinate with other managers to optimize production, manage resources, and meet operational quotas.
1) Prepares detailed lifting procedures and plans, ensuring they are clear, comprehensive, and comply with safety regulations. This includes incorporating Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Permit to Work (PTW), and Toolbox Briefing for all involved personnel. 2) Oversees all rigging operations, including the supervision of lifting activities, is central to the role. 3) Ensures that lifting activities are executed in line with the established procedures and safety protocols, this involves managing personnel and monitoring for any unsafe work conditions. 4) Conducts checks on major lifting equipment and verifies that the lifting gear is fit for purpose. 5) Ensures that inspection schedules for both major and minor lifting equipment are followed and that equipment is tested and maintained accordingly. 6) Responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks during rigging operations and coordinate safety inspections, including visits from regulatory bodies like DOSH for PMA equipment. 7) Prepares and manages the work schedule, ensuring that manpower is appropriately assigned based on project needs, plans daily operations and ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining safety and productivity standards.
1. Select, inspect, assemble, and secure rigging equipment such as slings, shackles, pulleys, beams, blocks, and crane hooks according to load requirements and regulations. 2. Safely slinging, attaching, and balancing various loads (precast panels, steel, machinery, telecom equipment) using proper techniques and gear to prepare for lifting. 3. Direct crane operators using standardized hand signals or radios, coordinate taglines, and supervise load movement to ensure controlled and accurate placements. 4. Conduct routine checks and maintenance on slings, rigging gear, and lifting devices, reporting or replacing any worn components to uphold safety standards. 5. Enforce safety protocols, including PPE usage, confined space entry, Work-At-Height (WAH) regulations, and maintain lifting logs, inspection reports, and activity records.
1) Review rig move procedures, including towing vessels and routing, to ensure alignment with the rig’s Marine Operation Manual and Location Approval Certificate. Monitor the transition to final positions, ensuring stability calculations and operational compliance during preloading, jacking, and anchoring phases. 2) Survey and approve vessels engaged in rig move operations. Verify and approve the seaworthiness, including sea fastening of loose equipment, watertight integrity, and suitability for offshore activities before departure. 3) Assist in developing project documentation, planning offshore activities, and evaluating tender specifications for compliance. Ensure mobilisation and planning arrangements are communicated effectively to all relevant parties. 4) Oversee the implementation of the company’s Quality Assurance (QA) and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Management Systems throughout all phases of the project. Manage project modifications and inter-departmental meetings to maintain adherence to safety and quality standards. 5) Ensure accurate survey reporting aligned with client specifications and document control parameters. Address variations and manage recovery of additional costs where necessary, while providing post-project debriefs to offshore teams and stakeholders.
1) Supervise and manage the rig crew to ensure smooth operation during well intervention activities. 2) Operate downhole tools, rod, tubing, pump, and pipe handling equipment as required for workover operations. 3) Ensure the punctuality of rig crew to perform their assigned tasks at the scheduled time. 4) Coordinate with customers to address any operational concerns and maintain strong working relationships. 5) Ensure adherence to safety protocols, maintaining a safe work environment, and meeting productivity standards.
