Servicing or repairing motor vehicle engines Inspecting the engine to detect defects using various tools and instruments Opening part of or the entire engine to replace or fix worn and damaged parts Inspecting, adjusting and lubricating the engine periodically to keep it in good condition Performing related tasks

Designs, develops, builds, and maintains all sorts of mechanical devices, tools, engines and machines. They oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and design, develop, build, and test mechanical and thermal sensors and devices.

Design, develop and test tools and jigs for manufacturing of vehicles. Collaborate with suppliers to select materials and components for tools and jigs. Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications for tools and jigs. Create and maintain detailed documentation for tools and jigs. Participate in tool and jig testing and validation. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tools and jigs. Continuously improve tools and jigs to improve quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiency. Participate in cost management activities, including budgeting and forecasting. Ensure safety regulations and procedures are being followed in the fabrication process. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to technicians.
