Hardware Design and Development

1. Develop firmware and assist to evaluate, design, build, bench test and debug firmware for new product 2. Works with a variety of interface standards 3. Perform system level design modeling, system integration, algorithm modeling, benchmarking implementation and digital signal processing

1. Interface in cross functional teams to ensure the design meets all firmware, diagnostic and system level requirements 2. Participate in architecture definition, design reviews, requirements generation 3. Simulate and analyse design proposals, review results and provide recommendations on optimal design practices to other design engineers

1. Lead day-to-day firmware development work and support project from inception to production to meet customer / business qualification 2. Oversees definition, design, verification, testing and documentation for firmware development 3. Provide mentoring to other team members on firmware development

1. Design, develop, and implement technical solutions related to hardware, while participating in project planning and scheduling 2. Provide technical leadership, manage non-technical elements (i.e., people and financials), and act as the primary contact for stakeholders 3. Lead the deployment of strategic technologies, and manage relationships with key vendors, stakeholders and partners

1. Develop and implement test plans, improve cost-effectiveness, and lead the creation of innovative engineering solutions in a team setting 2. Integrate advanced testing technologies and contribute to capital expenditure savings through strategic research and implementation 3. Offer technical guidance in failure analysis, support new product introductions, and mentor junior staff to build a knowledgeable team

1. Implement testing strategies to meet targets in high-volume production, while improving product troubleshooting and validation 2. Work with various teams to introduce and integrate new engineering solutions and cost-efficient testing technologies 3. Offer technical support, share knowledge through documentation and training, facilitate design engineers in new product introductions
