1) Planning and designing the manufacture and installation of electric power equipment and facilities 2) Determining the type and arrangement of circuits, transformers, circuit breakers, transmission lines and other equipment 3) Advising on and designing systems for electrical motors, electric traction devices and other equipment or domestic electrical appliances 4) Interpreting specifications, standards and regulations relating to electric power equipment and use
1) Responsible for overseeing the design, installation and execution of assigned projects and plant modifications 2) Manage all aspects of E&I request for Quotation (RFQ), meticulously detailing project requirements and specifications. 3) Prepare and evaluation tenders related to designated projects and plant modifications. 4) Plan and schedule project activities in the plant to ensure timely project completion and liaise closely with contractors for E&I installations. 5) Coordinate with Production and Maintenance departments to facilitate testing, prechecking, and commissioning processes, guaranteeing successful project completion. 6) Liaise with E&I Engineering consultants to discuss on E&I project design.
1) Regular, periodic plant rounds in all Control rooms and Plants to ensure healthy operating conditions, notice abnormalities and critical problems 2) Plan and assign jobs to workmen and follow up with minimum response time 3) Interact with various departments such as Process/Mechnical/Electrical/Stores/Purchase/Safety to execute instrument maintenance jobs effectively with respect to quality, safety, cost and time of completion 4) Ensure all faulty instruments are serviced/repaired and calibrated in workshop with quality 5) Identify training needs for technicians to cater to their development 6) Prepare annual budget proposals for spares, manpower requirements, any new modification proposal
1) Develop scope of work and estimate annual budget for related corrosion management and monitoring activities. 2) Implement the Corrosion and Inspection Management Strategies in the company assets and ensures policies are updated with the industry best practices 3) Review and analyze corrosion monitoring results together with inspection results to evaluate the efficiency of corrosion monitoring/prevention strategies. 4) Provides expert advice, technical back-up and professional guidance in interpreting data, finding solutions and co-coordinating for efficient services 5) Lead Incident Reviews and root cause failure analysis for materials and corrosion related failures 6) Involve in regulatory compliance activities i.e., DOSH
1) Ensure preventive maintenance programs/plans are implemented as scheduled. 2) Ensure all the spare parts and tools needed for planned and emergency maintenance are ordered through purchase requisition. 3) Analyse and evaluate engineering and design changes, process enhancement, and modifications to advise on the engineering impact of these changes, determine operability, and ensure appropriate maintenance procedures can be applied. 4) Performe failure root cause analysis to troubleshoot and avoid repeating events. 5) Advising on the selection of materials used and production of specifications for the mechanical works; 6) Assist on the GMP+ and ISO22000 systems. 7) Ensuring all maintenance operations follow company policy, OSHA guidelines & FSMS requirements.
