
1. Operate and maintain equipment used in developing, testing, producing, and maintaining new aircraft and spacecraft. 2. Program and run computer simulation tools and processes in their work, as well as advanced automation and robotics. 3. Assist in quality assurance, testing and operation of advanced technology equipment used in producing aircraft and the systems that go into the aircraft.
1. Approves the organisation's Quality Management System (QMS), encompassing quality assurance, quality control, and inspection benchmarks for the upkeep of aircraft engines and components. 2. Holds responsibility for both internal and external quality audits, impact analyses, and carrying out quality investigations to ensure maintenance activities align with the standards and procedures set by original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), regulatory bodies, and the organisation itself. 3. Offers specialized knowledge for the implementation of corrective and preventive measures addressing quality concerns in aircraft engines and components. 4. Endorses the Certificate of Conformance (CoC) for first article inspection of engines and components. 5. Authorizes updates to the technical documentation and Maintenance organisation Exposition, and approves alternative methodologies, equipment, and inspection technologies. 6. Oversees adherence to airworthiness and legal mandates, contributes to the refinement of the organisation's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), management frameworks, lean and sustainable practices, and data analysis strategies for informed strategic decision-making. 7. Leads the team to meet and exceed business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and initiatives for talent acquisition and professional growth. 8. Exhibits a mindset attuned to quality, safety, and risk compliance, with the ability to view challenges from various angles to make well-informed and effective decisions for the function. 9. Displays exceptional leadership, forward-thinking, and organisational management capabilities to anticipate and mitigate potential quality risks in maintenance operations.
